Cortland County Community Action Agency, Inc. (CAPCO), is the community action agency serving Cortland County. CAPCO is dedicated to providing and advocating for community-wide actions and programs that increase individuals' dignity and self-reliance and improve community conditions, engaging all sectors of the community in Cortland County's fight against poverty. Current Programs include Women, Infants and Children (WIC), Head Start/Early Head Start, Consumer Directed Services including Consumer Directed Personal Assistance, EISEP and Medicaid Transportation, Energy Services (Weatherization) and Family Development including High School Diploma and tutoring, health/nutrition, emergency assistance, Community Action Angels, SNAP assistance and Healthy Families Program.
