Kristopher Buchan has had more than twenty-five years experience in the real estate business. Kristopher has served as the president of the Groton Business Association from 2013 to 2016 (and previously in 2006) and has served as the Vice Chairman of the Groton Housing Authority. He is the past vice president of the Groton Public Library and the 1890 House Museum Board of Trustees. Kristopher served on the Board of Directors of the Ithaca Board of Realtors® from 2016-2018. He is the 2023 President of the Cortland County Board of Realtors®.  Kris is the 2021 recipient of both the Good Neighbor Award and the  President's Award from the Cortland County Board of Realtors®

The League of Women Voters of Cortland County (LWVCC) is a non-partisan activist organization encouraging informed and active participation in government.  We influence public policy through education and advocacy, and we support diversity, equity and inclusion.  Our organization never supports or opposes any political party or candidate.  We are part of a national organization (LWVUS) and a statewide organization (LWVNY).
