Kerby Thompson

Kerby Thompson (Producing Artistic Director) has led CRT since 2000. Under his leadership, CRT completed two major capital campaigns: a $150,000 renovation of the Little York Pavilion (2005) and the $2.25 million project creating CRT Downtown (2010–15). At CRT, Kerby has performed in The Full Monty, Chicago (SALT Award, Best Actor), Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, Moonlight and Magnolias (SALT Award), and The Music Man, among others. His directing credits include Murder on the Orient Express, Mamma Mia!, Million Dollar Quartet, Our Town (SALT Award), Saturday Night Fever (SALT Award), 1776, and Unnecessary Farce. Before moving to Cortland, Kerby worked in New York City for 14 years as an actor, director, and choreographer.
