Veterans Day Watchfire, Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Central New York Living History Center, 4386 US Route 11, Cortland, NY.
5:30 pm indoor ceremony followed by refreshments & fire lighting
Free public event
Honor veterans & learn about the role of the military watchfire.
For all veterans: 1-5 p.m. FREE museum admission on Veterans Day
View the Homeville Museum’s extensive military collection (Civil War through contemporary).
Bring your retired and tattered flags to the Living History Center before Veterans Day so we can prepare them to be respectfully burned.
